This farm is about an hour drive from Brighton, MA. My wife and I went there this weekend and the place was crowded. We got some hit cider, apple donuts and hot dogs (some of their items like Mac and ... read more »
My children and I got to the farm about 30 minutes before it opened and waited in line to pay for apple picking. The place started to crowd up very quickly and when it came time for apple picking to o... read more »
I have written many reviews, but none as heartfelt as this one. I have been visiting Tougas Family Farm for over 30 years. It was my favorite fall activity as a little girl - and is the primary reason... read more »
I cannot say enough good things about this place. I went with my son and paid a total of $10 and we got two (included) containers of strawberries. My son loved petting and feeding the animals and playing on their huge outdoor park. The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful--and they went out of their way to make every part of the trip great. Would recommend to anyone (with or without kids)!
Been Here in the past and had a great experience with my family. This year when I went it seemed like they were highly concerned with people stealing their apples. Between the bag checks, the eye balling, and the family being detained for extra apples...the vibe was off. Not even a "Hello" a "Goodbye" or a "thanks for coming". My husband asked about a product and got a rude response. I'll preffer spend my money at another of the just as nice New England apple farms.
A great place to bring the family! Everyone was friendly and helpful, from picking strawberries to getting great food from their snack stand. If you're going to pick fruit, go early. Parking gets full, as do the fields. Check their Facebook page regularly for updates on what's ready to be picked.
I came from Maryland to go apple picking with my daughter and two grandchildren last year (2015). We had a great time despite the crowd. They have been back this year picking strawberries. I am coming back this to go apple picking. Lot of fun for the whole family.
This place is huge and has a lot of fun things for the kids to do. The apple picking is pretty expensive but the other fruits are pretty well priced and they sell some really nice products. Gets pretty busy during the summer holidays though but they do have a fair amount of parking.
