  • This multifaceted outdoor area is great in all seasons but spring and fall are especially nice with lovely flora everywhere. It's fun to wade in the lake on a hot summer day.  more »

  • One of only best things Wilkesboro has to offer for family fun! We visit the lake almost on a weekly basis during the summer. There is multiple camping, swimming areas, playgrounds, shelters & boat accesses. For only $5.00 for a day pass or $40.00 for a year long pass, you can have fun all day long & never leave Wilkes County!
  • Having grown up on this lake, it has been one of my most favorite places to be. It is not too big and it's not too small.
  • A real mecca in the Mountain Biking community. Miles and miles of beautifully designed and maintained trails, courtesy of the BMCC and others. Get a campsite, bring your bike and swim trunks and enjoy 60+ miles of the best riding in NC.
  • I love this place good fishing
  • My home and a very special place with friendly people and amazing fun in the sun at the lake.
