  • FABULOUS place with carnival rides g kids open May - Sept. Mini zoo & lots of park shelters and great snack bar by the rides
  • We arrived early before the Railroad Museum opened. That allowed us time to stretch our legs and give our 80 lb. traveling companion a chance to investigate a portion of the park. Besides the enormous...  more »

  • As far as parks in small towns like this, it is very nice. It has carnival rides that are open most of the year, food and ice cream for very affordable prices, wild animals in a walking or driving miniature zoo tour, beautiful river, multiple playgrounds, frisbee golf course, and much more. If you live nearby it is worth stopping by and checking it out.
  • This park has so much of everything. The public pool is quite basic but Pleasant and clean. The railroad exhibit is small but gives the kids a lot of interaction. And there are several playgrounds for the little ones to work off energy. There are public restrooms in many locations, though they are not well marked. My son likes to come here whenever we can.
  • We stopped to see the locomotive while traveling through. It was fantastic! I've never seen one done so well. The train literally looks as if it was just parked there. I really appreciated the fact they let us bring our husky mix with us as we walked around and even offered him water. We didn't see much of the rest park, but I was surprised to see a pond with Canadian geese running around it. I would definitely stop and spend more time here if possible.
  • I remember coming here as a kid when we would be on our way from Norfolk to Colorado. I love that you can get ice cream and kids can ride the rides or you can look at the animals.
  • Very nice city park. The animals on display are neat to see.
