Home to many different species of wildlife, the park also serves as a nesting ground for rare sea turtles, such as the loggerhead, green sea turtle, and leatherback. Stop by the nature center near the entrance of the park to learn about the park's history and ecology, as well as to view live animal exhibits. Walk across the 490 m (1,600 foot) boardwalk to reach the sea, or hitch a ride on the golf-cart shuttle.
