  • Played in Nov and was in good shape. Course is a great layout. Greens look like there were still filling in from an overseed but played / rolled ok. Clubhouse staff were great to deal with, breakfast ...  more »
  • Played on 7/21 in the am. Greens were still a little rough but not too bad. Knew that going in and was well worth the $28 rate we paid. Enjoyed the layout with some easy holes and some more difficult....  more »
  • Glen Dornoch has an awesome layout and the views are a huge draw. Unfortunately, the greens we played today are TERRIBLE, the fairways, tee boxes are very nice, the staff most accommodating. The staff...  more »

  • I'm local and play all throughout the area. This is in my top 3 favorite courses. Can't beat it for the money. Course is challenging enough to keep you interested but player friendly enough to where you won't be frustrated all day. Greens get a little rough from time to time but even when they are I'd still rather play here than other courses in the area. More often than not the greens are absolutely beautiful. Also, some the best views of the waterway you'll find. My wife doesn't play but loves to just ride around with me when I play this course.
  • Pretty course. We don't play all that well so a perfect course is not a priority. Others have said the course had issues but we like the course and being local we belong to their friends of the Glenn group.
  • The worst course that we played this week. The fairways were thin and wet. The greens were sparse and bumpy. Nice views of the intercostal but spend your money elsewhere.
  • Some really good holes.
  • Some of the worst greens yet that I have played in my two months here at Myrtle Beach. Nothing but bumps with patches of dirt and grass. There were only 3-4 that were worth even trying to putt on. In addition, the second nine took almost three hours to play as the four senior men in front of us played poorly and extremely slow; no marshall anywhere around even thought the parking lot was just about 1/3 full. No one cared but the groups behind us were quite upset and did call the clubhouse to complain but nothing happened. Worse yet, I paid $56 for a 2 for 1 and played the sister course Shaftsbury Glen and this is nothing but a mud hole. No one mentions anything when you make the tee times, just take your money and smile. FYI, I have played about 50 courses in MB and this Heather Glen group may be one of the worst.
