  • The location makes this place, although I've enjoyed their food too. Typical bar food, but tasty and reasonably priced. I've enjoyed it 3 times in the last couple weeks because of a nice deck, ocean v...  read more »
  • Well just like the rest of the beach here no shells, cigarette butts and the sand is not really nice at all.. The water was not clean either. Not too many places nearby to go to for a break from the s...  read more »
  • Cherry Grove Pier is a fun thing to do. You can watch the people fish and walk down the lovely pier. Cost is $2 per day.
  • We decided to go to the pier and try fishing from it. The staff was great getting us set up with rods and bait. They also provided some hints and tips for fishing from the pier. The staff was all very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. We had a great time, but didn't catch a thing. I did feel the rentals were a little pricey but it sure beats the heck out of having to bring all your own stuff.
  • I've been to the cherry grove pier a couple times now and every time the staff are extremely friendly and will answer any questions you have! The pier is great for fishing caught all different species of fish and everyone that fishes there are friendly. Meet a lot of great ppl while fishing there! I will be back to North Myrtle Beach again because of this pier. I highly recommend going there and giving this place a chance and fish there!
  • The old Cherry Grove pier washed away decades ago, the new one is much nicer and larger. It has a covered 2 story area and fishing stations. The store offers snacks, ice cream, drinks, souvenirs and fishing supplies. While there try to find the post card of the World Record Tiger Sharkcaught of Cherry Grove pier. It weighed over 1700 pounds.
  • Horrible. Wasted $8 for parking. Then we had to get through a building and pay an additional $2 per person just to walk on the pier!!! Nothing is even on it. Waste of time and $8. My family left. Never coming back again.
  • It costs $2 just to walk out onto the poer, plus more to fish. Great fishing place though. Just real crowded in the summer
