  • We were a group of 22 golfers that hosted our annual golf tournament in Barefoot Golf Resort from 10/27 to 10/29. We played a total of 4 rounds in each of their 4 golf courses. First three rounds were...  more »
  • Played this on a day with some rain and wind blowing at about 25. The course was set up for the World Am Tournament and the greens were rolling at about 13. The rough was real and the transition to th...  more »
  • The course was in great shape but the greens were not in the best shape. Summertime in Myrtle Beach can stress them out. Great layout with the ability to drive the ball in spacious fairways. Guys at t...  more »

  • I had the pleasure of playing this course with my son. To sum the Dye Club up in one word, AMAZING!!! From the moment we arrived we were treated awesome. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. As for the course, it was hands down one of the top three I have ever played. The fairways and greens were perfect. The course was also very challenging. I will play this course every time I come back to the Myrtle Beach area. What an amazing Pete Dye design....
  • Played the Dye course which is very interesting and challenging course in great condition. If you stay on the fairways and out of all of the hazards, waste areas and bunkers, you have a chance. Some of the greens are very tricky. Went out first thing in the morning and had the place to ourselves. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
  • I had the displeasure of staying at the Barefoot Resort recently. I've vacationed with them in the previous years and always enjoyed my time there. The holidays were approaching and I wanted to do something outside of the traditional norm for this Christmas 2017, so I booked a condo at The Havens golf villa room 1822. The first few hours were lovely my husband and I cooked with my children laughing in the background. We decided to go to sleep around 11pm because we planned to take the kids out Christmas shopping at the Tanger outlet. That never happened because my children awoke me telling me they saw bed bugs. Horrified! I went into the living area and in the chair was a living bed bug, my daughter yelled for me to come in their bedroom because she saw another bed bug. Mortified! I snapped pictures of those devils and immediately got on the phone calling Beach Vacations. The night manager attempted to soothe me by offering another condominium, but my husband and I were livid, we just wanted our money back. It's now 1 am in the morning and we're driving all the way back home on Christmas eve. Everyone in my family literally stripped outside of our home because I didn't want to run the risk of taking any of those critters inside. I threw away all my luggage because I wasn't able to wash and dry them. I'm having my home checked just for good measure. I had an issue with these critters back in 2009 and spent a fortune getting rid of them. Barefoot landing refunded our money but cost me so much more. They are clearly unaware of the stress and anxiety these critters cause. My heart tells me they were aware of this problem yet they still decided to rent this condo. I hope they use thermo heat to get rid of them, but they have clearly left a bad taste in my mouth. I will never stay in any other condo or hotel chain again in my life. My sanity is more important. Thanks Beach Vacations for the worse Christmas vacation experience ever. It's a shame I had to leave a star because I definitely don't agree with that. I wish I could post all the pictures. The condo could also use a lot of tlc before renting again. Why so light a carpet when you intend to receive lots of traffic? Vacationers beware!
  • Nice golf courses, really high quality! Greens were flawless! I would rank my favorites as #1 Love (by not much!), #2 Dye (really close second!), #3 Norman and #4 Fazio... Fazio was quite difficult but beautiful landscape and Norman the easiest and nothing spectacular. I would likely play the Love and the Dye again but probably not the other twos... We really liked the "private" style of the Dye course. The staff was really cool and pleasant and polite. Really a nice resort! Highly recommended but for serious players. Maybe a bit pricey for the value in my humble opinion... Enjoy your golf!
  • From the moment we drove up to the bag drop, till we left the resort, by far one of the best overall golf experiences I have ever had. The service EVERYWHERE, no matter who we came in contact with, was warm, friendly and above all excellent. I was on a trip to MB with my 12 year old son to play some golf and enjoy some father son time, and even he was made to feel very welcome, which is not always the case for juniors on some of the "nicer" courses. We played the Love course and it was everything I had read about. It was fun, challenging, and quite picturesque. The course condition was the best we experinced in MB. We cannot wait to come back and play the other courses. Thanks Barefoot for a wonderful memory.
