Previously known as the Village of the Barefoot Traders, Barefoot Landing is a shopping complex built over a filled-in portion of Louis Lake. The 15 quaint village shops of unusual wares that once made up the complex has expanded to more than 100 shops and activities encircle the lake. • The Barefoot Landing has all kinds of small shops. They have clothing stores, T-shirt shops, Christmas Shops, shoe shops and restaurants and miscellaneous specialty shops. The scenery is pleasant.
  • Barefoot landing offers something for everyone. A lot of great shops perfect for souvenirs and gifts.
  • Lots of good restaurants, fun rides for kids. We went to an inexpensive restaurant and visited many of the very nice stores.
  • We went to the fireworks show on a Monday after a long day at the beach. Family was happy we ended the night with a very cool and free fireworks display on a warm summer night. That's all we did, so I can't rate the shops. But getting in and out of the place was easy and there were plenty of good spots to watch the short show.
  • Awesome unique boutiques as well as some smaller chain stores (del sol, peace frogs, etc) and restaurants. The boutiques are local small businesses that are absolutely necessary to explore because you can find pretty much anything, usually (what I would consider) affordable since many items are handcrafted or imported. Perfect place to find one-of-a-kind gifts! Beautiful landscape...layout is a little confusing, need a map at least for the first visit so you don't miss anything.
  • Fun all around. Great place to see all the different shops and activities. Heads up though, avoid Rock n Roll shop across from Johnny Rockets. They'll try and Scam you out of money.
  • We went here to do the Carolina vineyards wine tasting and ended up have the best day. We arrived around 4pm on a Thursday the crowd was non existent and it was great. Our wine tasting was the best one we have ever done. We continued our cocktails at the frothy dog most bar which was such an incredible experience. The bartender was hilarious and the pina coladas were so tasty! We looked in and out of several stores while we strolled until we found Umbertos! By far the best restaurant in Myrtle Beach! Service was a but slow but the restaurant was packed. I Would travel back to myrtle just to go to barefoot landing
  • Fun place to hang out... lots of interesting shops that you don't normally find in a mall. A few good restaurants on site, and a couple of concert venues. There is a tiger place where you can get your picture taken. There is Alligator adventure. A fun place to spend a few hours. It's not as big as Broadway at the Beach but not bad.
