  • I'm an average golfer and I can tell you I will never play here again!! We booked a tee time not knowing what was in store. Not only was the course in terrible condition -- long grass, no water, horri...  read more »
  • Overall a great time, with friendly staff and good customer service in the clubhouse and on the course. Wish they had a driving range. Others reviews are harsh. Obviously this isn't the love course. I...  read more »
  • The price was decent. Other than that, not much good to say about it. Crabgrass was growing in the fairways, we went on a day that the heat index was around 104 and there was no water on the course, t...  read more »

  • April 12, 2016. There had been a few showers in the morning but the amount of rain was less than a quarter of an inch. With this being said our group decided to get in an afternoon 18. We wanted to be close to where we were staying so we chose this course. We found the rate of 40 to be reasonable so we decided to give it a shot, what a mistake. Our first indication should have been the empty parking lot but we thought maybe the weather was to blame, wrong again. This course is horrible, the owners should be ashamed of their product. It is obvious that no care is being given to this course. You need a 4 wheel drive for the cart paths, while age I'm sure has to be partially to blame there has been no maintenance provided or so it appears. The tees are barely useable, bunkers have grass growing in them on several holes and the yardage markers are not accurate according to 3 different range finders. The only playable part of the course is the fairways. During our visit the fairways were green and in decent shape but they didn't appear to have been mowed recently. The greens are not even playable. I'm not sure if it is disease or overgrowth but they show no care what so ever. After playing a few holes we decided to stop and just leave. When we returned to the clubhouse at approximately 5:30 no one was even there!! Save your money and don't visit, there are a lot of great courses in the area within but Azalea Sands is certainly not one.
  • Pleasant and fun,but modest course. Clean facility. Staff were good. Good value! I paid $25 for 18 holes. The concept of having beer cart girls in stripper outfits was lost on us! It's mostly couples playing there. C'mon man!
  • My family and I went here on vacation from new hampshire. In the morning we had played 18 at another course. We Decided we wanted to play another 9 so we decided to try here. It was slightly drizzling. As beginner golfers we like to play when it is not very busy as not to hold people up. So when I went in I asked the staff if they were busy. I guess this was a big mistake. The manager in his office then became very rude and sarcastic asking me if I really asked that. Then continued to tell me that he may close due to the weather potentially coming in and the course next door had already closed which was not accurate because I had called them just before. My family and I just wanted to play not get insulted by the staff. I have never written a review on anything prior in my life so that should tell you how my experience here was. When we left we went and played back at the course we had played that morning and then booked 4 more tee times for the rest of our trip. That could have been here if we had just been treated with respect.
  • Great little course needs some TLC it's kinda got the hometown municipal course feel to it great price and good place for a warm up round ! Played in under 4 hours ! The snack bar is a must too friendly staff and not expensive
