  • The area and Mill is a great background for photo taking. No activities or things to see inside the Mill itself. The Mill area is fenced off from private homes in the area. It is a nice place to read ...  more »
  • Lovey picture taking spot, always clean and relaxing to come sit or do a photo shoot, the Old mill was in the movie Gone with the Wind
  • This is the old mill which appears in the opening scene of the film gone with the Wind 1939. It seems to be the last building of the movie, still standing ...

  • My Family has a home that is in the same large Pond of water. Holiday time is fantastic and Fall I enjoy more each year The view is so nice and peaceful. Fun fact, the Old Mill was shown in the movie Gone with the Wind
  • I grew up going to the old mill. It always seemed so cool! And back then they just had the mill itself, now they have more foliage and beautiful landscaping and restrooms. It's gorgeous! It is the go to spot for graduation, wedding, and engagement photos. Everyone will have a great time there!
  • Not as beautiful as the photos I've seen for some reason. Maybe it's because of the season? The water is dirty and swampy, the plants are not doing so well and there aren't that many, some decor is broken. It was just okay, but worth it just to check it out for 10 minutes. The photos kinda hide the flaws
  • Very cool structure! Beautiful park to walk through. Show up early in the morning to enjoy it by your self. Was hoping it was an original building but just a reconstruction. Still worth the look!
  • Best place for kids to explore off-leash.
