  • Much more than expected! So many campsites - we were amazed! We had 14 in our group - not a single one ever got bored. There were so many activities in the water. We all had a blast!
  • Very cool place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I lost my watch on the waterside and assumed it was gone for good. At the following rest break the lifeguards all dove into the water then searched and searched until one of them came up with it. Totally made our day. Keep up the great work!!!
  • Three stars because the 'restaurant' is really a dive bar, not kid friendly, and the indoor pool was closed because it was raining? I guess that's my fault for assuming the indoor pool would be the alternative to the beach during inclement weather. The campground itself is really nice, the shower houses are clean, and i saw the cleaning crew on a daily basis. The trash is picked up promptly in the morning. For as much as it rained this past weekend, there was hardly any mud. Everything in the general store was decently priced. Lifeguard's at the beach are brats to the children and adults. Watching them interact with the crowd as they were fitted for their life vests was uncomfortable, those girls have real attitudes. But, the older woman working the front entrance was sweet as can be, she's the type of person you want to be the first face you see as you enter the park!
  • I'm surprised more people don't know about this plaxe. Really awesome and the staff is usually really friendly when they're not swamped. The lifeguards are the shiz. Plus there's TONS of events that go on there around the summer
  • Primitive camped 7/23-724 The facilities were dirty. The water park requires life jackets to be worn for the majority of it, but they ran out. Johnny-Os had slow, poor service, and the restaurant itself was very hot inside. There were 2 fights next to us, and a trailer on the other side of the lake, which is a year round camper, was obnoxiously and profanely loud until 4:30 in the morning - no security went to enforce the park rules. I will never return. I feel it was a waste of money and time. There are many much better run places to choose from.
  • For the union gathering, the tickets were $5 for all day pass and steak dinner with beer (21+). Basketball and volleyball court along with "rings" in water where there are around 12 rings above water almost like monkey bars that you swing from with your goal being to reach the other side. Crowd will cheer you on if you make it more than a couple rings. King of the hill inflatable, canoeing, cornhole, basketball in water, zip line above water (really fun) and many more features, favorite waterpark.
