  • Lots of cool planes sadly most of them are outside and getting beaten up by the weather. All the planes have explanations of their history, many are very interesting to read about. Some of the planes are pretty unique and have not seen them at other aircraft museums. There's some interactive displays inside the visitor center. Museum has free parking and there is a park next door with benches picnic tables and jungle gyms for kids.
  • Very cool place. My son loved it. I highly recommend you dish out the extra 5 bucks to do the flight simulators with the real flight instructors upstairs. We all enjoyed it and they were great with my 10 year old.
  • We have toured many museums, both from a military as well as civilian stand point and over the years have learned new things during each of those past experiences.  I knew about this museum and since my son and I are big into anything military we decided to take a trip to this museum!   Driving onto this once robust military base almost seems like a ghost town with little or no traffic on the day of our visit. The entrance fee was well worth the price to be able to view all the aircraft at this museum.  My son, who loves anything connected to airplanes, was thrilled to see how big these planes were compared to his size.   He was just as inquisitive and wanted to know how something as large as the "A-10 Thunderbolt" could take off from the ground and why it had a funny name like the "Warthog."   Between myself and the "descriptions" on a lot of these exhibits, I think my son's inquiries were answered to his satisfaction.  We had a great time and the museum didn't disappoint us.
  • It's a nice place to go if your looking to do something out of the norm. Price was fair and the place was clean. The only down side was that they were closing down some of the aircraft for safety reasons due to the level of heat inside of then. Other than that I would like to go back for another viewing.
  • The staff here was very knowledgeable of all the airplanes and explained things to my daughter who is 5 was extremely excited at the way they explained everything to her
