  • We visited Pippin Hill for one of the Thursday night Savor at Sunset dinners. There were 6 of us and we had a dinner reservation for 7:30. We were told to arrive early if we wanted to do a wine tastin...  more »

  • This place was absolutely beautiful! The grounds are kept up very well, and they grow most of the stuff that they cook, so it's extremely fresh!! The food was fantastic, but the service was a bit slow. The wine is good, but I wouldn't say fantastic... But definitely worth the trip out there! This is by FAR the PRETTIEST winery I have visited in all of my home state of Virginia - and I've been to many, many, many!! Including Northern Va, Western, & central part of the state.. So if you're an herb enthusiast, make a plan to go!!
  • This place is amazing. From the decor to the view, it was gorgeous. The bartender is super sweet and knowledgeable, she even offered to take our picture. Me and my friend sat at the bar for a wine tasting and ended having a great conversation with others that were there, and we had such an amazing time. Definitely check this place out. The wine and location is phenomenal.
  • Wine was average at best. The food was good, with small portions. We also waited over an hour for a food. The views of the mountains are breathtaking! The staff had an attitude of indifference about the quality of our experience as a group, which was disappointing. I will not be going back, there are too many other quality options for wineries around Charlottesville.
  • Beautiful vineyard and tasting room. Lovely and lively atmosphere during warm weekend afternoons. Wine is a bit pricey at $30/bottle. Attentive staff. Come during the week for a laid back, classy, and solitary feel.
  • Attended an event here. Servers were courteous, food was delicious and some of it is grown in the garden on-site, and the wine has improved significantly in the past few years. Scenery cannot be beat. Beautiful property.
