  • Very nice deep country hidden gem of a park... Outstanding scenic views and even buck deer along with other wildlife are all around you... There's great public fishing off the boardwalks/planks or along the beach/rocks... Never a crowded place until possibly the summer but beyond that it's a quiet getaway from the city environments with Baltimore and Wilmington, DE being not too far away in either direction...
  • This nice 2.2mile round trip hike out to Turkey Point Lighthouse is quickly becoming a regular routine in our "new" location here in Slammin Cecil County. Its a pretty easy hike down the main, mostly gravel covered fire-type road, but theres a couple loops off the side that almost creep into intermediate for seconds on end. You will see Bald Eagles, Osprey, Hawks, Turkey Vultures, Deer & clear down to Aberdeen Proving Grounds on a clear day. Lighthouse open Memorial Day thru Labor Day...but maybe a little later than Labor Day. Google It!
  • Breathtaking scenario! Be prepare for a short plane hike, use lots of repellent and maybe wear pants if you don't want to be eaten by the welcoming flies and mosquitoes. Hiking trails are marked extremely well, giving you no room to get lost. The highlight of the park is probably the old but very well maintained lighthouse of which you can claim to the top for more wonderful scenic views. • Gorgeous views. This park has very good hiking trails and scenic vista's of the water, a convergence of 3 bodies of water. There's even a lighthouse with picnic tables shaded by fruit trees. Be sure to look for bald eagles. Always worth the visit
  • This is my absolute favorite weekend getaway. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The park is extremely clean. If you go, try and get one of the sites near the water, BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
