  • This place is great for a family walk...take a water bottle .you can have quite an adventurous walk meeting critters along the way...and the light house and the view of the water is awesome
  • Definitely went during a quiet less visited time period since we were the only ones in all 3 tent campsites. But that didn't stop us from doing anything we wanted. It's nice knowing the bathhouses won...  read more »

  • Breathtaking scenario! Be prepare for a short plane hike, use lots of repellent and maybe wear pants if you don't want to be eaten by the welcoming flies and mosquitoes. Hiking trails are marked extremely well, giving you no room to get lost. The highlight of the park is probably the old but very well maintained lighthouse of which you can claim to the top for more wonderful scenic views.
  • Gorgeous views. This park has very good hiking trails and scenic vista's of the water, a convergence of 3 bodies of water. There's even a lighthouse with picnic tables shaded by fruit trees. Be sure to look for bald eagles. Always worth the visit
  • The campsite was clean but small. The beach had a lot of rocks and dead fish. My kids left smelling like dead fish after swimming. The views were beautiful and the staff was great. It was very quiet, but that also made us feel like we had to keep out kids quiet. The playgrounds were nice and there was lots of nature
  • Best beach is here! Forget the ocean! It's much much better! There's sand and waves. Also you can go out far and still be at your shoulders or waist. There's a playground for kids. And bathrooms. There's no lifeguard. It's only 3 dollars for one car! Bring cash. You put the money in an envelope and into a slot. It's fun and great for all ages. Also they have panic tables and grills.
  • Stayed here with a group of friends this past weekend and absolutely loved it. The check in process was incredibly easy and informative. The camp store was closed since it was before memorial day but they had wood and ice available for purchase through the honor system. We got 2 sites next to each other and it was more then enough space for all our setup. The bathrooms were clean and working perfectly. Loved that there was a little path behind our site that lead right down to the water where we had beautiful views and could watch the sun set over the bay. Tons of hikes within walking distance but we decided to ride up to the lighthouse and hike there. Honestly a can't miss experience if you go to this park. I cant really think of anything negative to say about this campground. I will absolutely be back!!
