  • Charlie was the guide for the ice climbing trip, and the experience was wonderful. He's knowledgeable, friendly, and very easy to talk to. We would use this guide service any time we're in the area.  more »

  • Great guides! Justin and Craig were incredibly knowledgable. Fantastic experience hiking Mt Washington.
  • Awesome selection of climbing gear.
  • My son loves their summer climbing school. We also love their store. Great group of folks.
  • We hired a guide from here to take us up Mt. Washington in the winter for the first time. The price included the rental of our crampons, boots, and ice axes. Our guide was Johnathan and he was great. The day before, they went through all of our gear and rented us anything we didn't have. It was overall a great day and experience.
  • Last winter my brothers and I did the three-day basic winter mountaineering course here. It was pretty cool. The guide, Elliot, was very tough, professional and good at mountaineering and climbing. He was a good person to try to be like for mountaineering and toughness. We didn't get to the top of the mountain because the wind was really blowing fast. I forgot to bring my anemometer up the mountain, so who knows how fast it was actually blowing. They equipped us with everything we needed and accommodated us by driving us to the trailhead in a POV. All around good experience. Next time, I am bringing an empty water bottle, so I don't have to get out of my sleeping bag and into the -5 F air multiple times in the middle of the night.
