Since 1937, Cranmore Mountain Adventure Park has been a popular ski (and more recently snowboard) destination, in fact, it's one of the oldest continually run slopes in the country. At 610 m (2,000 ft), the resort caters to all levels, from the baby hill to 1.5 km (1 mi) descents. Nine chairlifts service 57 different runs. For thrill seekers, the resort includes five snow parks featuring jumps and rails at varying degrees of difficulty. Or ski between the trees on one of eight glade runs. The ski school offers private or group lessons for both skiing and snowboarding. The resort also operates year-round as the Mountain Adventure Park, a small amusement park featuring a giant swing, rollercoaster, tubing, and a zipline.
