  • My daughter and I walk our dog there. It has artwork, benches a playground for children and a small dog area, fenced in the back, with a few training tools. There are water bowls and bags for dog clea...  more »
  • This is definitely a must do if you like being outside and on the water. I mean I could write a whole review on how beautiful this spot is but instead just take my word for it and go and spend a few h...  more »
  • Nice to visit or to go on a short walk. A little more fun if there is a scheduled event here. If we lived closer we would most likely visit more often.  more »

  • I like how the location is off the 526 and the US 17 Corridor. Plus, there is also free WiFi for your phone and laptop (Google Chromebook, Acer, Lenovo, Intel, AT&T, etc.) And, you get to see some of the amazing views from the Cooper River, down South to Charleston, SC. (You would have to take I-26 East in order to get there.) It features the pictures of World War II and the Cold War. (1901-1945). But, there is a naval Base, that is next to the park. Yes, you take some breathtaking photos for you and your kids! Free playground for all ages! There are three parking areas: 1: Facing directly towards the naval Base. 2: Looking towards the Navy house @ Navy Way. 3: Facing towards the basketball court. The parking is absolutely free.
  • Always a relaxing place to go with the dog. A super playground for kids of all ages. We go all the time and have never had a negative visit.
  • Just used a pavilion and had a retirement party there had a good time. Pretty location.
  • This is a beautiful park that includes everything you could want in a big public park plus the feeling of rich historical value of the now defunct Charleston Naval Base. The art installations displaying both the emotional side and the tactical side of war are super cool, the rich history of the location and memorials are well presented and memorialized w beautiful monuments, pictures, and displays. The river walk is gorgeous, there is a fishing pier, a large shelter area, a performance stage, playground and light changing wading sprinklers! It's a super fun place to be!
  • Great place, nice picnic park areas, good sites, picturesque, historical statues, buildings and water fountain
