  • Went there because I had their Washout Wheat heffeweisen at a local sports bar. Took Uber over there and was a little hesitant when we pulled in an alley between two warehouses just before the locatio...  read more »

  • Very cool vibe here and 25 beers on tap! Even ice cream flavored with their beer and food!! Bartender Zack was great to talk to about craft beer.
  • Was there middle of June honestly looking to hit up Palmetto. When that fell thru I hit the next closest which was the best move I could have made. Paradise was easily the best IPA I had outside of Charlotte. The gentlemen behind the bar even worked up something even my non-beer drinking son liked. Nice, cool outta the way place with good food. I'll shall return!
  • Visited on a rainy Sunday afternoon about 30 minutes before closing. The bar was mostly empty. The bartenders were not rude but not necessarily welcoming either, possibly due to our timing. I have had pluff mud porter many times before and enjoy that beer so I went with some of the limited run selections for something different. The beer was okay. It wasn't great. To be honest, it actually wasn't that good. I love the feel of the brewery, especially the old bar from Cumberland's which reminds me of college. I even thought the cat behind the bar was cute, though I'm not sure if that meets DHEC regs for a food prep area. With all of the great beer being produced in Charleston at the moment, I'm not sure if I will add Holy City to my brewery rotation.
  • Definitely one of the best breweries in a town that has quite a few great breweries now. They always have a great big selection, and it's hard to not find something for somebody, even if you just want a handcrafted soda from Elliotborough Soda Co (they almost always have at least one on tap). There is actually quite a large seating area here and the brewery can accommodate quite a large group of customers all at once so it's hard to feel to jammed up in here. They also have some food selections to go along with your beers, and on occasion have food trucks and popups out as well.
  • Great Beer in a unpretentious location. Best brewery experience closer than Asheville to Charleston. Collision Stout is my favorite.
  • 20 beers on tap, along with root beer, and wine. Full kitchen. You'll find great local beers, like the Great American Beer Festival Gold Medal winning Plug Mud Porter, the Paradise Session IPA, and the Overly Friendly IPA, among others. The brewery is tucked back in an industrial area, but it's an oasis for sure.
