  • Perhaps the most stunning viewpoint in the entire Washington State Highway system! We go up there almost every year. The visitor center/viewpoint is done exceptionally well with ample parking and restrooms and picnic areas. Take paved paths to cliff-hugging vistas of jagged peaks or hike around on dirt paths. The Pass is closed in winter, but die-hard snow shoers or Nordic skiers go up there from Early Winters.
