  • One of the best contemporary museums I've seen. The buildings lend themselves to the spirit of exploration and adventure. We saw several exciting exhibitions, don't miss the Anselm Kiefer building. Wi...  read more »

  • To be honest, contemporary art is not my first love, but friends in the area took us here while we were in the area for a visit. This is a large, well thought out and well done facility. The old plant...  read more »
  • A must see when in the Berkshires area. Even the surrounding town is cute.. Make sure you have change for the parking meters. Parking for the museum is limited. Also has a nice dining area with great food options.
  • Exceptional if you like abstract art ( which I do). Creative use of old factory/mill & ambitious plans to expand, including "extreme" model railroad at separate location. I think plan is to have up to a 100 highly detailed model trains running.
  • The Mass MoCA is truly a great destination in Western Massachusetts. All of the visits I've had have been eye opening through the vivd landscape of media art. Way more hits than misses. Great organization to support, great installations to see!
  • A surprise in the Berkshires. There's always interesting modern art there. The museum has expanded throughout the site and there's new places to explore. I go for the Band On A Can performances and they are always fantastic. This is a must stop museum each summer.
  • 6/23/2016 - We visited MASS Moca today and let me say I was not expecting to be blown away as we were. The pictures and write ups on the website did not at all due this selection of exhibits justice at all. The works were all amazing and engaging and played so well off one another. MASS Moca has always been a joy for being so close to home (Troy) but today's visit will go down as a remarkable surprise. We love you MASS Moca!!
