Tour a battleship, go underwater in a submersible, or pet a few crabs at Nauticus. This educational museum's interactive exhibits teach visitors about the sea and U.S. naval endeavors. Go aboard USS Wisconsin, one of the largest battleships ever constructed by the U.S. Navy. In the Secrets of the Deep exhibit, climb inside a submersible and control the robotic arm that is used to collect items from the sea bed. • Great visit for children and adults. A lot of hands on for kids and interesting history for the adults.
  • I purchased 4 adult and 3 children discounted tickets from the local newspaper which did not include the guided tour of the Wisconsin. City parking was directly across the street and fairly priced. We...  more »

  • Nauticus is one of the best museums I've been to in years. The rich, and deep, maritime history in Norfolk is beautifully represented here. With focus on Maritime in general, as well as the US Navy. The exhibits were awesome and well laid out. It was very easy walking though and feeling like I was seeing everything. Only complaint is I saw a cafe, which was closed. No indication of hours, or if it was being renovated, or anything.
  • Unbelievable museum with really amazing content. US naval history section is legit and has really cool models. And of course, the Wisconsin is the best. The self guided tour of the ship was great.
  • We went on saturday and my 2 year old loved all the interactive stuff she could get her hands on. Very informative and educational. While we were there my daughter dropped her blanket, didnt realize till we got to the car. But I called on Tuesday and the sweetest lady said she saw it outside of nauticus on the bridge. She was nice enough to get it for me and wait till I got there to hand it to me. I think her name is Laney but shes a volunteer petite older woman and she is amazing. Im so glad you have this women who went above and beyond her job to help me. Thank you so much, you made my daughters day by finding her favorite blanket. I will definitely be back to visit because of her.
  • Fun, informative and creative presentation of Naval history-yesterday and today! Battleship Wisconsin tour is included too!
  • This is a really neat museum with some indoor/outdoor elements. You can stand in a ship's belly and also stand on a ship (USS Wisconsin). The marine science exhibitions are informative and there is a lot you can actually pick up and touch.
