  • The guy working there demonstrated how scorpions glow under black light on their resident shop scorpion. Worth it just for that, but the shop was cool too.
  • Old Time town , Truly on the edge of the desert. Great little store with Lottery tickets not available in Nevada. Laid back, peaceful , nice place to take a break and get something to eat. The renovated adobe Hotel was very interesting.
  • Only place around for a hamburger or a beer on the way to Searchlight. Basic menu and historic lodging at the B&B. Clara Bow & Rex Bell used it for a whistle stop in the 1920s to get to their ranch. I believe the sheets were washed since. Worth stopping if you an explorer.
  • Very nice place if you look for silence in the middle of Mojave. Be ware if mid-night trains though.
  • Really nice place. The dude who runs it (sorry I didn't catch your name) is super cool. He gave me free super glue that I needed with a purchase. If you are going to Vegas and you like Fallout: New Vegas. It's a must.
