  • We were headed upstate and came across this place (actually a sign for it.) I "squirreled" off our route and followed the additional signs to it. So glad I did! My sons, husband and I really enjoyed i...  more »
  • Very informative visitor center - effective museum with some really good artifacts. The movie is particularly good as an overview. We hope to return when we have time to walk the trails.  more »

  • This park has a well maintained paved path. Would be a good park to go to even if you have some movement issues. We loved all the history and the park is beautiful. My kids love the Jr. RANGER program.
  • Well maintained and a joy to visit! I drove several hours north from North Charleston to check this NPS site out. There is a mile-long trail that takes you through the site of a Revolutionary War battle. Really cool knowing you're standing at the site of a skirmish between the Patriots and Loyalists 250 years ago. Highly recommend visiting!
  • If you're a history nerd like me this is a cool place to visit. There is a nice walking path around the whole site. Good for elderly or kids thanks ti benches and shaded areas.
  • This is a great historic site, but I enjoy walking the paths and having picnics at the picnic tables. The trails are well maintained and well marked. The main historic path is paved and has benches along the way, so most people could walk it. There is a hill that could be difficult for some who are physically challenged, but other parts of the park could still be enjoyed. My young grandson enjoys the park, too.
  • Beautiful place with nice hiking trails. Dog friendly. .
