  • This is just a few minutes past Salvation Mountain. On the day we came here (a hot Monday in June) we were the only people there, even though there had been quite a few tourists at the other site near...  more »
  • East Jesus art was very interesting and very unique, in its own way of course...Check it out if you pass by Niland......  more »
  • It is so cool .Like nothing we've ever seen. Highly recommended. A collection of previously used stuff. Some may call it junk bit it's made to be a collection of art.  more »
  • Cool Place. People there were really friendly and even gave us a tour of the exhibits and the living area. Would definitely recommend as a stop going through that area.
  • It's a must visit when you're traveling through the badlands. Stop at Bombay Beach and have a beer, then to Salvation Mountain and Slab City. Check out the Art of East Jesus, then end at the Geothermal Mud Volcanoes. You'll get your post-apocalyptic fix!
  • This is a must see, but probably not in the hottest summer months. Hard to focus on fascinating art installations while you're bursting into flames.
  • What a unique place. If you're coming to see Salvation Mountain, you have to drive the extra couple miles to come to East Jesus. Following my recent trip, East Jesus left me with far more memories than Salvation Mountain. We even had a free tour guide. Make sure you climb the unsafe lookout tower, try your luck at put-put golf and bowling, and get a photo in the kissing booth!
  • Another cool place to visit if you are out in this area. My wife felt a little sketched out by the area but all the people I met were chill. Come this these amazing works of art and my kids loved the bowling alley
