Tour guide, Terrel, was a great guide! He jumped right in and made us all feel comfortable getting close to the amazing animals. I didn't feel we were rushed at all. The desk person, however, seemed very unfriendly. Within seconds of us stepping out of our car (after a long drive) she informed us we had to go inside immediately. We could not be outside without a tour guide. Ok, but we are stretching our legs, the weather is beautiful, and we just drove up to wild animals in their back yard! Could we have a moment please? Then AGAIN when we stopped to grab a drink from our car towards the end of the tour, she came running out again to tell us the tour was over and we had to go back inside. Not a kind word or even facial expression was made from her. She definitely put a damper on what would have been a perfect experience for our family!
i had an amazing time, the rest of my family did too. We learned alot, and had an amazing time. Did you know that giraffes get really fat looking right before their growth spurt? neither did i until i went, Did you know that a porcupine doesnt really "throw" his quails? Instead they release them as they get touched while the animal is frightened. We all went to check it out, and when they said they couldn't give us a tour we started to leave to come back in an hour, but instead of us leaving they stopped us and gave us a tour, fairly reasonable for my family of 4 children and 3 adults. We all had a blast, and the kids were even sad to leave.
Really great experience at the farm. Great staff. We showed up when they don't normally do tours, but they were very nice and took us on one any way. Very knowledgeable staff. Loved all the animals and will be going again with more of the family soon.
They were awesome. We got an amazing themed room and the food and service was amazing.
Always accommodating, spacious rooms, lots of community space. Amazing animal tour! Has been a family tradition for 20 years. Great breakfast! Lots of food choices.
