  • This is such a fun place to relax with the family. This state park offers easy hiking trails, fishing, boating, and camping. It is also a great place to canoe or kayak. The campsites and hiking trails are well maintained and the facilities are very clean. They also have a nice playground area for children and several shaded pavilions with grills for guests. It is a great place to spend the day (or even a few days) to unwind and enjoy nature.
  • Great park. Cost $5.00 for entrance fee ($10.00 for cars with more than 10 people). Playground for kids, beautiful views, areas for fishing, kayak & canoe rentals (fee, $20-$55, rates depend on # of people, 2 hours, 4 hours or more than 4 hours), boat launch, & camping. Campground has small to HUGE campsites. ♿ accessible sites, parking and restrooms. Nice Nature & Fitness trails, and small beach area (just for standing or fishing). Free paperback books at a couple of the restrooms. Alligators have been seen in park from time to time, FYI.
  • Great place to camp! Very quiet and spacious campground. Water and electric in all campsites. Bathroom and shower facilities clean and well maintained.
  • Beautiful views of the bayou from the campground as well as the picnic/ day use area! Campground is very nice with W/E hookups. Large and well spaced. Nice folks in charge. Good hiking trails, too!
  • Nice small trails you can walk your dog on a leash. Nice camping spots with water and electric. Small boat ramp. There is a fee to use the park.
