Bridal Veil Falls, Niagara Falls
(4.7/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web)
See the smallest--but by no means the least memorable--of the three waterfalls that form Niagara Falls at Bridal Veil Falls. With its crest spanning 17 m (56 ft) wide, and its vertical fall extending to 24 m (78 ft), the cascade provides photo-worthy views. Take a boat ride on the Maid of the Mist pool and get up close to the mighty falls, then visit the Cave of the Winds and to see the base of the falls. Walk across the bridge that connects the islands, dividing these falls from the rest of the Niagara Falls. At the entrance, you'll receive slip-resistant sandals and a poncho to somewhat protect you from getting damp. • As the Niagara Falls are located between two States called USA and Canada, visitors are too many in relation to the actual beauty of the site. The large attendance also generates the push to give a name, in this case to differentiate into two the only waterfalls. It may well be that centuries ago is not visible the Rocky part, frontally, does distinguish the small part on the right, then to the West, from the largest to the East. Anyway I think the judgment should be unique and positive for the waterfall, that allows to the West the hike to the Cave of the Winds.

  • From the NY state park you can take a paved walkway (with some stairs) to either of two viewing platforms at the top of Bridal Veil Falls. There are good photos to be had, so do it!

  • My family always found the American side of the Falls to be a bit boring, but viewing the Bridal Veil Falls up close is a very memorable experience! It is worth the money to go down and see it from up close. If you choose a really hot day, it feels wonderful to get sprayed by all the mist. You will never look at the "small" Bridal Veil Falls in the same way again! I very highly recommend it.
  • It is great that you can be literally a foot or two away from the Falls. It is a much different perspective being at the top and looking down than seeing the Falls from a distance. Well worth the $0.
  • You can't describe it being able to feel the life force of the river and be blessed by it there are no words just good feeling of nature washing your stress away.
  • Nice falls next to the American falls, nice flow and the overall feel is great. Looks like a veil and hence the name
  • This is maybe be the best viewing platform to see the falls! So much to see and hear!
