  • I enjoy their beers, the brewery is just not worth your time though. Fine, they have a cool story but just go read it online. I'm surprised to see so many other very positive reviews; maybe it depends on what other breweries you have been too. Go see SweetWater brewery in Atlanta GA and then try to rate this brewery above a 3. It was just underwhelming and I was unimpressed. If I remember correctly you get four small samples(beer tasting) for $10. To put it in perspective a bar will normally give you a sample or two of this size for free before you buy a beer; except you are at a brewery which mass produces said beer. You do, as others mentioned, get a free glass with this deal. Magic Hat in Vermont has free tours and and free samples as a point of reference.
  • Definitely worth while to stop by and see this local micro-brewery. It was featured on an Episode of Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe - recommend you watch that episode before going! I wasn't a huge fan of the beers they were brewing at the time, but it was nice to try some new things.
  • Stopped here on a date with my wife. Brian served us, and was more then knowledgeable about the beer and rum. We more then enjoyed ourselves and will be coming back. If you are looking for a nice night, kinda low key? This is the perfect place to go!
  • Rum tastings are $10 and include samples of their Thomas Tew Rum at 3 different stages of the distilling process. It's a great place to check out. They have signs posted all throughout their viewing area so if you don't want to wait for the guided tour, you'll still be able to learn the same things on your own. The tour is included in the cost of the tasting.
  • Great tour of the brewery but the beer tastings are served sparingly. All the more frustrating when your guide has a full beer in his hand. Would have been good to take a full beer with you on the tour.
