  • Great Aquarium with lots to see and do! The tunnels with the sharks are awesome! Our kids loved watching the mermaids swimming in the tank!
  • Really great aquarium! Nice physical layout, so you don't have to double back anywhere or check the map to see if you missed anything. Lots of amazing animals with great write ups. Very close to downtown Cincinnati and easy access too.
  • Awful place with little to no care for the people wishing to view the animals. If you must go plan to get their an hour or so before you want to get in as you will have to wait. Plan so you don't miss the shows for the otters and penguins as they stow away the otters. You may be able to see the penguins still after the show time provided that they either leave the light on or clean the dirty viewing window so you can see through it as they waddle around in the darkness. Perhaps I just visited on a bad day but I doubt it would be worth the drive to ever return.
  • The Newport Aquarium is a pretty nice one that revolves around a giant tank in the middle of the building that you walk around and walk through in big glass walkways. They have a great 'hands on' petting area for star fish and crabs and later on with sharks. The penguin exhibit was dark to simulate the correct lighting for what they would be in, but made it hard to even see them or learn about them. The rope bridge is a great idea but you can not really see much because of all the bubbles and movement in the water below. It takes about an hour to get through the aquarium and there are tons of other things to do outside of it once you're done. I do believe the price is a bit steep for an hours journey (can actually be completed faster)
  • Fun informational aquarium that includes turtles, snakes, otters, sharks, frogs, etc from all over the world. Interactive areas allow visitors to touch fish & coral. Informative associates in every area to answer general questions about each species and special questions about that particular animal including name, sex, age, likes & dislikes, etc
  • amazing place. This was a very wonderful experience. The place gets a little crowded so arrive early.Trust me the time i visisted it was only a bit pushing or was a bit crowded but not that crowded to push and shove your way.its worth the price to see everything that this aquarium has to offer.i suggest to also explore the place as it has tons to offer.if you are looking for parking, the parking garage is the place to park(which is near the southgate bridge).gift shop is great but go to the shark bridge last because there is no way to go back down unless you exit the aquarium and enter again.would love to go back here again.
