Fort Adams is the largest seaport fort inthe US named after President Adams. I recomend the guided tour which takes an hour. The fort has never fired a shot in hostility. The park is spacious, large a...  more »

We took the $12 water taxi (on and off at 6 places) to Fort Adams. Not crowded. There is a fee to go in the Fort and have an hour guided tour. We didn't do that. We walked around the perimeter and ski...  more »

This place has a lot to offer. A beach that's perfect for little & young kids. A snack bar that's not way over priced. A historical fort that you can explore, they even bring you through the tunnels under the fort. Plenty of scenic views of the bay and harbor. Last but not least...acess to great fishing from shore.

Good place to enjoy the sea breeze and do some walking. Good view of Newport Pell bridge. The fort itself is a nice backdrop and interesting to walk through but the site is best used as a place to relax and enjoy the weather.

Great piece of history for military buffs but also a beautiful site to just visit. Fourth of July fireworks were spectacular. Only drawback was getting out when they were done.

Awsome history, great events, beautiful views. Only bad thing is parking (really small spots and they have a habit of blocking off tons of parking up front). Also they don't penalize people who double park
