  • The title says it all. Not much has been restored and much of the fort is trashed but you get a good idea of the historical significance. Our tour guide, Jack, was excellent - very informative and a n...  more »
  • Just loved it! Walks through the fort, along the seafront and beyond. Nice gifts are available but make sure you get there before closing time  more »

  • This place has a lot to offer. A beach that's perfect for little & young kids. A snack bar that's not way over priced. A historical fort that you can explore, they even bring you through the tunnels under the fort. Plenty of scenic views of the bay and harbor. Last but not least...acess to great fishing from shore.
  • Good place to enjoy the sea breeze and do some walking. Good view of Newport Pell bridge. The fort itself is a nice backdrop and interesting to walk through but the site is best used as a place to relax and enjoy the weather.
  • Great piece of history for military buffs but also a beautiful site to just visit. Fourth of July fireworks were spectacular. Only drawback was getting out when they were done.
  • Awsome history, great events, beautiful views. Only bad thing is parking (really small spots and they have a habit of blocking off tons of parking up front). Also they don't penalize people who double park
  • Fort Adam is a beautiful Colonial fortification and State Park loaded with beautiful places to walk and scenery is beautiful andView of Newport Bridge across the channel and looking at the harbor there are bathroom facilities a boat ramp in many festivities that go on during the year!
