Great spot for scenic water/boat views, walking or jogging. My yorkie loves the park to run around in the off season. I have picnic'd here many a summer w/ my mom & doggie. Fort tours, Halloween & ghost attractions in fall are awesome, not to mention the folk & jazz festivals held here every summer among other events.
Went for folk festival. Beautiful setting. My only complaint was the organization for buying beer with tokens. The token line was way too long. They need more token tables in the future.
A must-visit when you're in Newport, RI, Fort Adams is as majestic a fort as it is historic. During the summer, there are numerous activities for locals and tourists alike. If you are lucky, you might also see various cruise ships dock or pass by. Before leaving, make sure to visit the Museum of Yachting too!
We had a great time, the tour was amazing! Learned so much, kids had a great time. Check out the tunnels!
Great fishing and great park. If you're around enough, you'll see some amazing ships Moore up almost daily
