  • Our daughter ran ahead and looked for whole sand dollars and we just ambled down by the beach . It was a gorgeous sunset. It is the beach in Oregon at its best.
  • Was a bit hard came up sooner than than I thought. So watch for signs. Great Memories for me went often when I was younger with my parents. So while we were in the area this weekend. We stop by. Still...  more »
  • Agate Beach is a nice beach with lots of sand, but we didn't see much in the way of agates. Great place for kids to play in the sand. There is a park area across the road from the beach that was prett...  more »

  • Loved the hilly sands. Clean beach. Great parking spot right across the street and awesome tunnel for foot traffic to avoid crossing the road. Great place for kids and couples alike!
  • Agate Beach is a very pleasant, large sandy beach. It boasts all the fun things a big sandy beach provides. Other wonderful natural areas are within walking distance. It's a great spot to spend a hot day. But... beware the crowds and folks who occasionally don't pick up after themselves or their pets. For that, it loses a star. I'm using a scale comparing all Oregon state parks here. On that scale, it get's a 4.
  • An okay place to visit, it seems it's getting quite a facelift though, should be a lot better soon. it's usually quite a long walk in the dunes to get to the waters edge...
  • It's very pleasant and cleaner than most beaches I've seen
  • its very hard to find agates here, and there is ALOT of sand to walk over to get to the beach, but its beautiful and clean.
