Beach · Nature / Park
Situated on a cliff, Nye Beach is a seaside district known for its beauty, recreational activities, and cultural groups. Experience the district's tide pools, go surfing, or dig for clams at this seaside location. The beach attracts many photographers for its rustic views and marine research groups because of its wildlife. See for yourself why beach enthusiasts have been visiting these shores since the late 19th century. Once the water and sun have worn you out, head for some ice cream, drinks, or a more hearty meal before checking out the local shops or one of the beach's arts centers. • Fabulous beach and a quaint old time beach feel at Nye Beach.
  • Loved visiting here. Tide pools were fun to check out. You have to be very careful to not hurt nature while observing the beauty.
  • Beautiful beach, clean not over crowded. There's a seating area above the beach area overlooking everything.
  • This is a wonderful little beach to take a walk on. The access points are clearly marked and parking during the off-season is plentiful. Some of the shoreline is a little rocky, but easy to scamper across. Occasionally, there are logs piled up, which can also be a bit hazardous when wet. The sunsets here are very nice and it is always pleasant to take a barefoot walk in the sand here.
  • Very scenic and peaceful.
