  • My experience at this aquarium was amazing! I flew in all the way from Spokane, Washington. I went with my family, which there was 5 of us. The exhibits are nicely labeled with plenty of room to view the animals. We spent a good two hours here seeing everything. My favorite thing to do there was the Stingray Hideaway. You can be up close and personal with these beautiful animals. Overall it was an amazing experience. The staff was very pleasant as well.
  • The staff was so nice and took pictures of my boyfriend and I when asked. They keep the aquarium looking good and treat the aquatic life nicely. It's very kid friendly and super neat. I love the walking bridge over the sharks, it's a must to do!! The gift shop also has much to choose from! Tickets are a little pricy but it's worth it for a memorable day!
  • I absolutely love this family friendly Aquarium! I never get tired of going here and I am so excited now that I get to take my grand boys! The oldest absolutely loved the sharks and being able to interact with them was incredible. He was 3 years old at the time. This year we get to take his 18 month old brother. 🦈🐒The staff is completely top notch here! They definitely make you feel like family. I love them all! πŸ’–
  • We have a 3 1/2 yr old and he loves to visit here. To visit and go through the whole place takes about 2 hours. You could spend more time with older kids if you want to stop and play in the kids play zone by the frogs. We have seen a dive show, and even saw them feeding the sharks one morning after we crossed the Shark Bridge. We like the penguin area which has an interactive wall better suited for smaller kids. They have places where you can touch and interact with the animals and staff available to answer questions. Strollers are allowed most days, check the website for their stroller calendar. They have elevators and escalators for easy access, and for those times when we're in a hurry, they have a hallway to cut right through to the cafe after you enter. It bypasses a lot of the exhibits getting us closer to the penguins and Shark Bridge which are the current favorite. We go about once a month, exhibits and shows seem to always be changing so it's worth the season pass if you can visit a couple times a year.
  • Our 4 year old had a great time at Newport. He loved the glass tunnels, glass-bottom floors, the shark bridge, the penguins, and the play area (after the alligator exhibit). It was pretty busy and lots of people were taking photos and in large groups. I would have given it four stars were it not for the fact that my son had such a great time. The next time for the penguin show was not clearly displayed and so, we moved on to the shark bridge only to find out the penguin show would be starting soon.
