  • We went for a day on the water and it was relaxing and beautiful. They had many different boats to choose from. It is not a huge area, but big enough to spread out and feel like you were on your own. ...  more »
  • Had dinner with friends on Friday 10/13 with reservations for 4 at 7PM. Dropped off wives while we parked the car. They stood at the restaurant host table while being ignored by the manager, Craig, pa...  more »
  • Great get-away! Quiet, peaceful, and scenic! Great escape from city life! Enjoy a campfire and relax! I enjoy the slow pace of camping! Lots of reading and nature walks! Grilling and chilling!  more »
  • We loved our cabin #3 which boasted a great view of the lake. These cabins, with all their amenities, are perfect for people who enjoy the feel of outdoors but want the convenience of home. My husband and son enjoyed fishing from the pier we could see from our cabin which included an enclosed porch..loved it! We grilled right outside the cabin and never ecpected a full-sized kitchen! The indoor pool was so clean and comfortable. I loved the many different places you could sit outside and enjoy the beautiful landscape. There were only 2 things we didn't like; the service at the dining room was slow and the food was mediocre. The other thing was the beach. The water was so bad we couldn't swim. We will still visit this place again and recommend others to stay.
  • Went here for the weekend, not bad. The sites are a little over grown and could use some love. Defenetly need to research sites before booking one, some have no room if you are planning to put up a tent. Decent amenities, flushing toilets, play ground, a store to grab essentials you may have forgot. I the real disappointment was the lake, went to take the kids for a dip and the lake was filled with algae and mud. Kinda gross
  • The park is nice, but we will never stay in campsite 008 again! The site is tiny! We could barely get 3 chairs around the fire ring, and there was poison ivy everywhere! :-(
  • Good park, well kept. Could use more programs for campers and keep cars off grass around campsites which contributes to mud and lack of grass.
  • Very nice State Park with beautiful views. The hiking trails are good and not too difficult. Many of the sites are small and close to other sites. Check the map and pictures before selecting a site. Even though the sites are small and close together, you do not feel like you are in a parking lot. There are still lots of trees. The bathrooms and showers are clean, you are at a campground so that can change quickly depending on the other people staying there and weather conditions. Some of the electric hookups need to be serviced. The one we stayed at did not work.
