  • Whether your taking a day trip or spending a few days, great place to visit. They have swimming, camping, golf, playgrounds for the kids. Hiking trails and there is now a boardwalk behind Punderson Ma...  more »
  • This is a really nice park with good trails and floating dock / walkway that is probably 1/4 mile long. I don't fish but there were a lot of people fishing the lake so I am assuming it is a good spot....  more »
  • Such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay! The house is great but cabins are much more rustic and great for families and groups. The Sunday Brunch is not to be missed!  more »

  • We loved our cabin #3 which boasted a great view of the lake. These cabins, with all their amenities, are perfect for people who enjoy the feel of outdoors but want the convenience of home. My husband and son enjoyed fishing from the pier we could see from our cabin which included an enclosed porch..loved it! We grilled right outside the cabin and never ecpected a full-sized kitchen! The indoor pool was so clean and comfortable. I loved the many different places you could sit outside and enjoy the beautiful landscape. There were only 2 things we didn't like; the service at the dining room was slow and the food was mediocre. The other thing was the beach. The water was so bad we couldn't swim. We will still visit this place again and recommend others to stay.
  • Very nice State Park with beautiful views. The hiking trails are good and not too difficult. Many of the sites are small and close to other sites. Check the map and pictures before selecting a site. Even though the sites are small and close together, you do not feel like you are in a parking lot. There are still lots of trees. The bathrooms and showers are clean, you are at a campground so that can change quickly depending on the other people staying there and weather conditions. Some of the electric hookups need to be serviced. The one we stayed at did not work.
  • Miles of trails that are not crowded. The boardwalk is complete and a nice loop trail.
  • Really a good place for family outing. So much to do....Small lake for swimming, picnic area and golf etc.
  • This is a hidden gem. Well to people like me who don't live out there I find this place amazing. We mainly go there for the disc golf course. It is a advanced one for sure but its long, well shaded and REALLY fun! Its always clean too. We did drive through the rest of the park once and really looking forward to taking some time to see the other parts of it. If your going you may want to bring food and drink. There is a speedway and diner up the street of course. But unlike a park in a suburban area theres limited choices. Its great for a picnic.
