  • Great place to visit and puck fruits. The farm itself is huuuuge.Large selection of apples and so many other fruits and veggies. There are goats you can feed a horse in the back and a bunch of ugly chicken. Also they make amazing apple cider donuts and you can purchase preserves. There is an entrance fee of $3 a person and the veggies can get a little expensive but it's worth it.
  • The quality of produce at lawerence apple farms has dramatically decreased and so has the vibe. I've been a patron of this farm for over a decade and noticed the quality is not what it used to be. They charge an entry fee per person, which would be fine as long as the quality is there. It is also overpriced, i.e. $3.99lb for tomatoes that are rotten inside. The staff/owners are also annoying following you around, harrasing and reminding you and everyone else around in a very aggressive manner that "you must buy everything that you pick"! "If you can't follow the rules, just leave"! Here I thought you pick the fruit, lug it around the whole farm for hours and then just leave. It used to be where you would have a nice, friendly conversation with the farmers, owners and staff like a simple Can I help you?, Or let me tell you the history of the farm, etc. So unfriendly and unprofessional. It has come down to it that the only thing left to look forward to at this farm is it's pretty scenery, the farm dog (a gentle giant) and the only friendly employees who were the cashiers. Ive been so disappointed the last few times and will not be going back again. Maskers farm is just as beautiful and huge with delicious produce and friendly service. Also, Hudson Valley farms are amazing, although not as big they offer fresh produce and friendly staff. No entry fees at either. I hope my review has helped.
  • Awesome place. Very fresh fruits. Sweet corn was really great!!!! $6 entrance free per person which is fine, cause they need to make $ as well. Definitely will go back for more other fruits when season comes.
  • I will never return back to this Orchard. In years past entry to this orchard was free. Three years ago they started charging three dollars per person for entry. For the past 3 years they honored local residents and provided them with a season pass at no cost. Now this year they are not honoring local residents and they are making us pay as well. I understand charging tourists who come to eat from the orchard for free and go home. As a local resident I come in to the orchard to buy produce locally and I go home. I averaged $50-$100 per visit. Charging $3 per person is outrageous and a hefty fee when you have a big family. Hudson Valley has many excellent local orchards that don't charge an entry fee and it seems those Orchards will be receiving my business in the future.
  • Lots of varieties of fruits and vegetables. Better to come before October for maximum variety.
