  • Beautiful State Park. restrooms are very clean, showers are nice and the water stays hot. One of the best parks I've stayed at. Planning on making it back one day.
  • Great place to camp and fish. The staff is very friendly and restrooms and showers very clean. You'll enjoy.
  • My husband and I took a last minute trip to the UP and ended up at Muskallonge Lake State Park on a Friday. We were lucky enough to get one of the last campsites for both Friday and Saturday night. The Rangers were all so friendly and helpful. The showers were very nice and the vault toilets were super clean and actually smelled like flowers. The campground hosts had coffee for everyone Saturday morning which was lovely and craft time for the kids as well. The campground is very well maintained. The lake was beautiful and we caught some huge fish. We were able to travel to Grand Marais one day to enjoy the brewery and the lake and moved on to Pictured Rocks to do some hiking. We visited Tahquamenon Falls also, laid out on the beach at Lake Superior just next to the Lake Superior camgpground (great place to check out), picked some gorgeous rocks and made a trip to Pine Stump Junction for some delicious pizza. The sand on the beach is so fine and soft. We had an awesome little last minute vacay and are very pleased with our stay at Muskallonge Lake State Park. We will definitely be visiting them again.
  • Amazing campground! Highly recommended !! Sits between Muskallonge Lake and Lake Superior!! So close you can walk right from your camp site!! Staff was great, grounds clean and showers and bathrooms very clean!!!
  • Best dark skies (for star gazing) in Michigan! Low levels of light pollution allow views of the night sky like you've never seen before! Muskallonge lake is pretty and warm compared with Superior's chill and great beauty.
