  • A good first stop of the trip. Personable tasting room with a really good Chardonnay and Pinot Noirs. Was very helpful in making recommendations to other wineries to visit while in the Willamette Vall...  more »
  • We love this area for the views, great picture taking spot off the back patio- especially in season, but we also love how much the staff love to share their knowledge and their wines.
  • We loved it so much we joined the club. The staff here are so friendly. They gave us the wine glasses and hazelnuts. Don't miss this beautiful vineyard!

  • We love Adelsheim wines and were so fortunate to have this winery be our first ever tour and tasting at a vineyard. The staff was amazing. Sam was so generous with his time, explaining the entire wine making process to us and gladly answering many questions. His knowledge and passion for Adelsheim and wine generally was broad and it made it such a great experience for my family. I would recommend the tour, tasting room and the wine wholeheartedly. Thanks again Sam!
  • Adelsheim is definitely one of the biggest players in the Chehalem Mountains AVA and it shows in their gorgeous tasting room and ample amounts of vintages they have available to taste. I was pleasantly surprised then, that their staff was so gracious and took the time to get to know us and answer questions. Highly recommend.
  • I learned more about wine in 15 minutes then I have in 15 years of talking to wine servers. The Adelsheim vineyard is wonderful and I will return as often as my schedule allows.
  • We recently visited 4 wineries in Willamette Valley. This was by far the best. Classy, superb wines, friendly, not pretentious. Maggie spent quite a bit of time answering questions and telling us about the wines and the valley. It was fun! We ended up purchasing 4 bottles but when we were getting ready to head to the airport a few days later discovered we were given a wrong bottle in error. It was the same price but we REALLY loved the Pinot Gris we had tasted. I called and didn't even finish the sentence before I was told they would send a replacement bottle for free. That is what you would expect, but with Adelsheim there was no attitude or hesitation. Just charm. They get it. Great wine and treat people right. I have no connections there and don't even live on the west coast. They have earned my patronage. If you go to Willamette Valley for a visit Adelsheim should be on your list.
  • The pinots we tasted were all fabulous. And they were matched by the hospitality as the staff took care of us until help could arrive after we accidentally locked keys in the car. Pretty views from the back porch as well.
