  • Have been here about 5 times in the last month to purchase a few items that were on sale. I purchased one gun at a decent price compared to other stores due to no tax and a Military discount of 5%. St...  more »
  • I would give Cabela's a five but they are way too high on boots and hunting clothing. For those items I buy at Sportsman's Guide. I hunt and fish so I only go in those departments. They have great, kn...  more »
  • Camping, fishing and all around outdoors-persons paradise. My first visit to a Cabelas store and was duly impressed. I hear the PA store is even larger, if that is possible!  more »

  • My impression of my visit to this store was that it was well kept. All items promoted were on display. It was a bit dizzying as there are so many options to choose from. There were a few personnel working sometimes in clusters chatting. Although there were a good few that asked if I had needed any assistance with trying to find any equipment or supplies I had been looking for. The store as a whole was alright. If you want to pass the time check it out. It is February right now. So it is a good place to plan ahead for summer time and look for what you need.
  • Doesn't seem like they give a damn about helping out someone over the phone looking for a specific product. Whomever answered the phone was clearly in a bad mood and let it spew over onto our conversation. The "professional" wouldn't let me get more than 3 words out without interrupting me even though my request for info couldn't be simpler: I want a cargo box of a particular brand. The man felt compelled to ask me the same question over and over again while disregarding the details of my inquiry. "We have Thule and Yakima, which model do you want." Is that all---"which model do you want?" I'm curious about another brand---"if you go on our website, you'll find more info there." Can you look-- "we have Yakima and Thule." Never gonna bother with that place, poor idiots couldn't spare a minute of patience with some listening skills thrown in for good measure, now they won't get my $500.
  • Just about everything to meet you outdoor needs, and some amazing staff to help out. However, for every good employee at Cabelas there are at least two that would be better served working at Good Burger. I recommended Cabelas to a good friend, and the employee behind the gun counter was unequivocally disrespectful to her, and straight up ignorant. The staff at the Customer Service desk did everything they could to rectify the situation; at the same time, what kind of vetting process do they have for hiring employees?
  • The store is very nice inside and the staff I've encountered are friendly. The quality of what they sell is quite good, but a little pricey IMO. Both times I bought something there, the tag was missing off the items I wanted to buy and it took a good 10-15 minutes for them to check me out.
  • Are you tired of your kids just sitting around the house watching television or playing some stupid video game where the only exercise they are getting is with their thumbs. Take them to Cabela's and show them the joy of being outside in God's creation enjoying the beauty that is there as it is displayed with many animals including deer, elk, moose, pheasant and others as well as large fish tanks with real fish swimming around in them. They can learn that they can enjoy nature even if hunting and fishing is not something they would want to do as there are also things there relating to hiking, canoeing cooking or even just spending time with friends around the campfire as they gaze at all the stars God has put there for us to enjoy. If you would like to also let them enjoy the outdoors while hunting to help put food that is of far better quality than all the processed junk at the supermarket, Cabela's has a good selection of firearms, archery equipment and fishing gear to help you get the job done with good success. They also can provide you with the different tools needed to cut the food up into however it is you would like to prepare it for consumption even down to various spices and such needed to make the tastiest of meals. I have given them a four star rating because a five is perfection with no need to improve. I would have given them a four and a half but that was not an option. A visit to Cabela's is one that anyone can enjoy even if you are a couch potato as they also sell some very comfortable furniture and wall hangings to look at while sitting on the sofa.
