When in New York well worth a visit to this Cathedral no charge to enter very busy with holiday makers but well worth seeing the inside magic place

It is very nice on the outside, white, very clean and full of details. It is very curious contrast to see this building surrounded by skyscrapers. Inside the truth that is just as beautiful, but nothing new with respect to this type of buildings. I recommend surround it and see the area of the altar, with the floor very bright and black-and-white pictures. There is also a sculpture of Teresa of Calcutta. The little shop which features in the interior gives you the opportunity to buy a souvenirshow original
Didn't go inside, however this beautiful building, nestled between the NY skyscrapers stands out to all visitors and residents alike. Beautifully kept and worth seeing.
Beautiful and very serene. Loved it although I'm not Catholic. Very extravagant and historical. I had a nice time and the place is more secure than The White House.
Even though the church is quite beautiful it's treated as a museum during each mass, making it a disrespectful atmosphere for people that are actively interested in praying. People come into the church and walk in front of you and hinder you from trying to find a seat because of how many there are constantly walking around and talking or snapping pictures and flashing with their phones and the ushers stand around joking, talking and dancing around in front of you and also just sitting on their phones while real Catholics are trying to be faithful. This behavior should not be allowed and is quite offensive and completely wrong for those that actually want to be there for Jesus. Masses are sacred and the "bustling" city of NYC is destroying the true beauty of the church, which is the mass not the architecture. Touring shouldn't be allowed while mass is occurring and is unacceptable.
I had the best time at St Patrick's cathedral. As a native new Yorker I don't know how I didn't come here before. I met an amazing usher name Ariel. He's so tall and professional , I love how he answered all my questions and anything he didn't know he showed me to someone who did. I appreciate the staff for all there hard work keep us safe and keeping a great environment to pray I'm.
St. Patricks Cathedral is a magnificent place to visit. Step inside and pray in a wonderful place. Behind the main altar there is a small chapel were taking pictures is not allowed. Praying there is very relaxing.
A place of serenity amid a city that is constantly moving. A place of peace in a world that is full of strife. This is an amazing sanctuary for humanity, and for Christians a place of hope and rest. I was able to enjoy attending Mass here in the summer of 2012. This is a beautiful place, and I highly recommend visiting while in New York, NY.
