Not your list expensive store but rather than a store it's almost a landmark. Everything is beautiful in here. Not to miss.  more »

An afternoon in Saks 5th Ave is my secret pleasure when I can sneak away . In the past few months I've started to go to the restaurant on the 8th floor - you have to walk through the shoes dept to get...  more »

One of my favorite places to shop! Great customer service with equally amazing styles/designer brands to choose from

Probably the most iconic high end dept store in USA. The week after January 1 has some amazing sales. Get best luxury brands at 50-90% off. I've gotten some great pieces then.

The famed Saks Fifth Avenue is a luxurious department store. Staff are extremely helpful and attentive. Saks stock a large selection of high end brands.

Very enjoyable shopping experience. I like to hit their sales where I've gotten some great clothing. The store is beautiful and well laid out.

Thousands of amazing products. A higher level and greater quality than Macys. Online you can get better discounts but customer service is great. I did not have any problems except once I ordered a fancy shoes online with a matching belt but the i received the belt while I got an email 5 days later that the shoes is not available anymore.

Where to stay in New York City

The first step to finding accommodations in New York City is finding the right neighborhood. Manhattan, where most visitors end up, offers some of the most expensive rooms in the world, though there are lower-budget options, such as hostels with shared restrooms. Reduce your costs by basing yourself in one of the outer boroughs, but beware of low-end motels where you may end up sharing the premises with hourly customers. Alternatively, stay along the New Jersey shore, offering all the major chain hotels at considerably lower prices than their Manhattan equivalents.
