  • Beautiful and bustling bridge connecting Manhattan to Long Island City, Roosevelt Island. Became famous because it was used as a setting in one of the Spiderman movies.

  • This historical bridge connecting Long Island to the island of Manhattan. It passes over the island of Roosevelt and the East River. The bridge has a length of 2200 metres and is two-tier. We lived in Queens and went every day on the subway on the bridge in the center of New York. Next to the bridge walks the funicular in Roosevelt Island to Manhattan. Be sure to take a ride on it. It is an unforgettable experience. The bridge very nicely highlighted during the night. It offers breathtaking views of New York at night.

  • I Love this bridge at night, and the Manhattan side of the bridge. Very quiet romantic and also serene! Go to the little park right at the end of E 59th street if you are alone, sad, happy, angry, or whatever emotIonal state that might need some intervention. The view of the bridge, the water, and the exotic mysterious Roosevelt island's view, despite the proximity, is Simply beyond therapy! Our else, go with your partner and have fun! Odds are in favor of you being the only animals in that territory! Just don't forget to sigh once or twice on my behalf and hi to my old time sanctuary! @ed koch bridge: #withlovefromcalifornia
  • Love the bridge and the view from it. Just hate the traffic which is in most hours of the day (They do road work at nights...). Beautiful both looking at it and driving it.
  • To enjoy this beautiful bridge, take the cable car to Roosevelt Island. Fantastic views of Manhattan.
  • Woefully under appreciated. Best bridge in nyc
  • 3 stars foe existing and providing a link between midtown and Long Island City. Walkway supports undivided, except by paint, 2 way pedestrian and bicycle traffic, which has the potential to be dangerous. There's plenty of noisy cars and trucks you have to listen to, and exhaust to inhale, making walking across less than pleasant.
