  • We walked along the street map travel guide book on purpose. This University is met in that. University buildings scattered over the area rather than because there is large and extensive studies of Colombia University in Morningside heights, collectively feeling. Did not see here college students and classes in.

  • Located in Greenwich Village, NYU is a highly Metropolitan University, with several vertical buildings spread over several blocks in this neighborhood. This is a site for visitors with specific interests, mainly teenagers or young adults eventually interested in studying there. Have a sector receiving visitors and catalogs with course information. In certain timetables happen guided tours, a great opportunity to get to know the faculty, to which access is extremely rigid, restricted to who owns credential. Even in the library is like that. A clear caution with respect to safety in educational institutions, probably by episodes that occasionally happen. The buildings are pompous, even entering the premises it is possible to take some photos Jasons. Among the various facilities that NYU offers, I highlight one that is freely accessible, the accessories store at the University. This might interest including that not necessarily have an interest in studying there, but want to take a souvenir hat, a shirt or one of the beautiful Sweatshirt jackets. The store's portfolio is extremely wide. Prices do not compare with the promotions of the outlets, but there are also specific offerings.

  • If you are in New York City and going on city tour, ask tour guide to take you here. Although you can't see it from inside due to time constrain, still you can see it from outside.Nearby is the Greenw...  more »

  • The value of the education one receives at NYU extends beyond the classroom or the degree earned. The network one buys into by competing their studies here is invaluable. The campus environment compliments the vibrant city that is New York. All around the world the Violet torch is a beacon of prestige.
  • My daughter is attending NYU, class of 2020, as parents we are very much convinced that this is an awesome school worth every penny. The professors and staff are wonderful and as per tuition it may be expensive but my daughters education is worth every penny. If there is one thing you can give your children in life is a good education which is why NYU is the school for us.
  • I am Farrah Lv. I am an artist almost graduate from NYU. I love the city and the school. I love Italian food. Such a nice environment, I hang out with my cute boy friend every week. My dorm in near Union Square, feel free to visit. I am lonely when my boy friend is not around.
  • I studied here and don't regret the invested time and money at all. Am still in touch with some classmates and exchange ideas or just stories. A great range of courses for everyone.
  • I love the school, and it's somewhere I want to go, but my rating is more on my campus tour experience. They probably talked about academics for a total of 10 minutes the entirety of the tour, and maybe dedicated 45 minutes to their study-abroad program. My entire tour was spent hearing about how amazing NYC is, how diverse NYC is, how "NYC is your campus," and how they have campuses in two other countries. I learned nothing that wasn't common knowledge or I could get from a quick google search of the school. I didn't get to see a dorm room, only saw one classroom, didn't get to see the library(although we did get to go inside of the hall leading up to the library as if that means anything), didn't even get to see a dining hall. I understand that the diversity, culture, and big city/big apple experience is an important selling point for the school, but it's also important to inform the people who went out of their way to visit your campus about clubs, ACADEMICS, teachers, dorms, and the things that actually matter. I went to that tour to become more informed so that I'd finally be able to 100% say that this is the school I want, but I left more confused, with a bunch of subjective "facts" of importance.

Where to stay in New York City

The first step to finding accommodations in New York City is finding the right neighborhood. Manhattan, where most visitors end up, offers some of the most expensive rooms in the world, though there are lower-budget options, such as hostels with shared restrooms. Reduce your costs by basing yourself in one of the outer boroughs, but beware of low-end motels where you may end up sharing the premises with hourly customers. Alternatively, stay along the New Jersey shore, offering all the major chain hotels at considerably lower prices than their Manhattan equivalents.
