  • The Supreme Court of New York is a transformed of great architecture that often appears in American movies, TV albums or news, and sometimes there are a lot of new cars out there.

  • This is a no charge venue. We went as part of seeing Brookly bridge. You have to surrender cameras and phones plus go through a body scan. Go past the old fashioned empty phone booths and read up on t...  more »
  • Another of the many places that when you see you think: I already had been here before. And it is true. Image of many films and series, with its unmistakable staircases and its spectacular façade. Beautiful building which is surprising after seeing both skyscrapers. You can not you pass if you're in the lower Manhattan. Admire its architecture and of course photo on stairs.

  • Went to room 139 to postpone jury service on a Thursday morning. Arrived at 0810. Two people ahead of me in line for security. By 0830 when security opened there were around 25 people in line. Room 139 office opened at 0845. Was second in line. Out by 0850. Transaction took 15 seconds (fill out back of jury summons before you get there). When I left the outside security line stretched down the stairs to the street and had around 100 to 125 people in it.
  • Well known building for the TV series "Law & Order ” & " Blue Bloods" among others these are famous stairs were all the media interviews take place :) situated one block from Brooklin bridge
  • I didn’t get the chance to go inside but as a big Law&Order fan this was the perfect spot to take a picture 😂😂😂
  • Iconic and classic American courthouse. Considering how many times it has appeared on television and in high-profile places, it is well worth seeing.
  • This is where the 1999 film Big Daddy where the protagonist Sonny is pleaded not guilty.

Where to stay in New York City

The first step to finding accommodations in New York City is finding the right neighborhood. Manhattan, where most visitors end up, offers some of the most expensive rooms in the world, though there are lower-budget options, such as hostels with shared restrooms. Reduce your costs by basing yourself in one of the outer boroughs, but beware of low-end motels where you may end up sharing the premises with hourly customers. Alternatively, stay along the New Jersey shore, offering all the major chain hotels at considerably lower prices than their Manhattan equivalents.
