  • It is a square and monument commemorating veterans of Viet Nam. It is nice and quiet, but not worth deviate to know this place. If it can be perfectly combined with a tour of Lower Manhattan.

  • Uses for a coffee, strolling through the area, certainly that if as you were this part of Manhattan and did not see it... Not go down again. I, after coming 12veces to New York, I've come down to see because a few months ago I was in Vietam and it's funny when less see the face and the cross of the coin.

  • I stopped by with my colleague. On the shores of this business district, and Memorial Park is standing majestically, decorated with beautiful tulips. Engraved names and ages of the people who fell victim to and from New York and joined the Viet Nam war. Most of them had appealed in the quiet gloom of war, 10 units, 20 units in the first half. Consisting of a large glass wall, maybe a family letter is engraved. Over more than 70 years in Japan does not put the casualties of war, but United States is still at the forefront of conflict around the world, has been sacrificed many young lives. This monument will never glorify war or a place to praise the people who became victims should not be felt strongly.

  • May you all rest in peace! Tourist attraction. Place is kept clean everyday by hardworking people. During U.N.G.A. or P.O.T.U.S., this historical plaza is barricaded for security purposes. Always check before coming down here to avoid wasting your time or a good view as visitors won't be allowed to cross the plaza to head towards the water. Highly recommend to anyone visiting NYC or just passing by and wanting to kill some time. Bring a good camera 📷📹 to take souvenirs.
  • one of the most relaxing spots downtown. Just sit with some good food and watch the helicopters
  • Beautiful Memorial, providing a somber mood and moments of silent reflection of thought.
  • Perfect mixture of concrete and water. Located on the coast of East river surrounded by corporate giants it is quite spectacular. Just seating there is like finding peace with in u.
  • Has a wall with letters from and to Vietnam war heroes. A thoughtfully created memorial.

Where to stay in New York City

The first step to finding accommodations in New York City is finding the right neighborhood. Manhattan, where most visitors end up, offers some of the most expensive rooms in the world, though there are lower-budget options, such as hostels with shared restrooms. Reduce your costs by basing yourself in one of the outer boroughs, but beware of low-end motels where you may end up sharing the premises with hourly customers. Alternatively, stay along the New Jersey shore, offering all the major chain hotels at considerably lower prices than their Manhattan equivalents.
