  • If you go to the store it is great. The representatives help you find fabrics and the inventory is amazing. Online horrible. The shipping is super slow, which makes it hard if I need something for my business fast. They might as well get rid of their online reps. They will do absolutely as little as possible. Their answers are ones any average person can figure out by themselves by looking through the online store. It is not only frustrating but a waste of time for business people like me. My suggestion to the Mood owner, have an online rep that is at the actual store on the floor so that they can actually help. I am sure you have many customers like me who don't live there and it would be nice to help us out since we can't visit the store. Look at some of the 3 star reviews. They are all accurate.
  • The fabric selection is out of this world! Be prepared with a project before you grace the doors because the amount of choices are endless. The racks go from the floor to the ceiling and the isles are small. A designers delight!
  • Took my girls there as they are huge fans of Project Runway. Was fun to see all the fabrics and Swatch, of course. Staff was friendly and helpful. Areas were small but wide enough to browse an pull off shelves. Even A few work tables/areas near natural light. A little hard to find, but fun to ride the old elevator - with a "real" elevator man - up . (Not able to review as a fabric store since this was my first fabric store visit ever.)
  • Consistently very slow to ship orders out, even though website says "fast shipping". We run a small business that relies on fabrics being delivered in a reasonable time period. Mood often takes a full week for the order to even leave their warehouse. Won't work with me when I call them asking them to please ship my order and tells me I should have paid for expedited shipping. This is 2017 (the age of Amazon). I shouldn't have to pay $60+ extra for you to get my order on its way to me! We won't keep ordering from you if you don't resolve this! Edit: got in contact with owner and he straightened it out and got our fabric shipped. Fingers crossed things will go smoother next time around.
  • The holy grail that is Mood. Do they have various options for fabric and trim? yes. I've visited the shop in person and almost anything you can imagine is there. HOWEVER, ordering online is a different story. Their online customer service is consistently inconsistent. It takes a long time for orders to leave the warehouse no matter how early you may order something. Shipping is ridiculous in comparison to other online competitor fabric shops, and you can't return any cut fabric even if it's unopened. So you better know for sure whether you want something or not and hopefully you're not in a rush to get it, b/c there's no flexibility here!
