  • When performing this crossing, choose the direction Brooklyn-Manhattan, because the slope is best and the view also.

  • The most underrated bridge in NYC with some of the best views. I love running across the Manhattan Bridge and looking down at the Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn Bridge. Graffiti makes the bridge colorful as well. It gets loud with the trains running by but who needs talking, just keep going:).
  • I love bridges but you have to choose your time wisely if you plan on a drive downtown. Best to cross from 10am - 2pm or weekends.
  • Just read abt this in chetan bhagat's new book One indian girl nice to see its pics.love to visit this place in my life
  • Connects Chinatown with Brooklyn. Although not as popular as its southern neighbor, it offers a superior view of Lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. Metro tracks run parallel to the walk path which can be rather noisy. Also be aware of bikers on the walk path - they're supposed to ride on the other side of the bridge but sometimes don't.
  • Such a beautiful bridge. It usually gets hidden in all the excitement over its next door neighbor the Brooklyn Bridge. But it's quite perfect.
