  • We have madame tussaud visited on a rainy Thursday afternoon, there was lot of people-the gehhel neit is split into several subparts which in itself is kinda nice but to be honest, we were a bit ontgocheld-you can't visit everything with your New York pass, for certain things monotony and we felt a little cheated-I found mad tussaud in Amsterdam just as nice

  • Several characters currently on display at the Museum dated back several years, and the similarity was so striking. The informative side was good as it shows the steps taken for the realization of a statue... We find that the asking price is high for the number of characters encountered.

  • Don't waste your money. Bad quality, not realistic status. Very poor variety. Quite expensive. It was my first Madame Tussaud's visit and most probably the last one.  more »

  • They had a wide range of figures to meet everyone's taste, though some were sculpted better than others. The better ones included Prince William, George Washington, Indiana Jones, and Don Draper. In addition to the figures, they had some with 'sets' - for example, Don Draper was in his office and you could sit at his desk. Overall, a great time!
  • Good fun with incredibly lifelike wax statues, from celebrities to superheroes to athletes. Everything is approachable and you can snap selfies with the stars you love the most, or have a friend get a family shot for you. Highly recommended for visitors to New York City, and with Times Square right around the corner you were probably already planning to be in the area anyway. Photography enthusiasts especially should not miss it!
  • Great for all ages. From Marvel superheroes, to ghostbusters to celebrities. Everything is there. Very lifelike. You could have a couple of drinks during your visit too. Great green screen pictures too. The Marvel movie was very cheesy but was alright for children. Overall a good NYC tourist attraction.
  • Liked the experience. Not all characters are extremely look like, some of them actually didn't look like. Its great for the first half our, but after that you start to get bored 'cause is pretty much the same.
  • Came to NYC for a few days with a friend from Ohio and passed by this establishment while exploring..... I was instantly sold by the details of the work I took at least 1000 pictures that day with all of my favorite actors/actresses, artist, pro athletes + more; I later lost the phone, but luckily saved a couple pictures of this place from the phone to facebook beforehand of my whole stay in NYC. Visiting this museum definitely was a highlight of my summer in 2012 I'm not sure how it stands today but then it was a wonderful tourist site.
