Didn't think this neighborhood is really artistic real familiarity with a sense of artistic inspiration, if you would like to get or just pretty good, or would you like featured here is unique. Yes, even lots of unique picture a ton of Bitti. Little Italy pizza because I'm stuck, I walk the walk, while Rangoon neighborhood watch?

Where exactly is in the lower Eastside tempers are fighting. The boundaries of the suburb is made today with the Houston Street on the North, the Bowery to the West and the East River to the South and East. Up to the 60's before the artists came, and the neighborhood was hip, the today's East Village than North part was with the Lower East Side. Unfortunately, cultural workers and real estate brokers have pushed the personal separation to distinguish itself from the slums, which are located in the southern part of the lower East Side. The immigrants of the 19th century came in waves. In the twenties of the 19th century, it was the Irish famine, the them in droves to America in the "promised" and drove. (On the West side of Manhattan is thought this disaster). 170000 German in lower Manhattan were living 50 years later. "They formed a neighborhood in the northern part of the lower East Side, which was known as Kleindeutschland." Getting there: Take the "C" in the direction of EUCLID AV alight ST STATION at the DELANCEY.

Wonderful street art all over the place - some great pieces. Small, nice clothes stores, restaurants and bars. This part of the City reminds me of SOHO in the early 80s.  more »

Where to stay in New York City

The first step to finding accommodations in New York City is finding the right neighborhood. Manhattan, where most visitors end up, offers some of the most expensive rooms in the world, though there are lower-budget options, such as hostels with shared restrooms. Reduce your costs by basing yourself in one of the outer boroughs, but beware of low-end motels where you may end up sharing the premises with hourly customers. Alternatively, stay along the New Jersey shore, offering all the major chain hotels at considerably lower prices than their Manhattan equivalents.
