  • Little Red Lighthouse, I tried. Because it stands in a practical, appearance is pretty and adorable. A hope built forever, I wish I could. Take a close look and is quite huge.

  • A small and cute Lighthouse Park on the banks of the Hudson River. Almost under a bridge in Washington. You can take a walk in the Park, enjoy the view of the New Jersey and make photos against the backdrop of one of the many bridges of New York. From downtown Manhattan is far away, but you can get here by subway and a little pass. If you live near or just happen to be in the area you can visit the Park, but especially here to go.

  • I used to hang out under the bridge while at the nearby tennis courts.....I think I was one of the last kids to sneak inside and climb up before the Parks Department "secured" it. I've always loved this area. Hard to believe you're still in NYC/Manhattan. On the water and rocks.....I've taken everyone of my girlfriends over those years to sit on the rocky face just up North past the bridge.....They all loved it.
  • So beautiful, and one of the nest places to go to in New York to truly see the sea and experience a little solace.
  • Lovely stop for a picnic with a little bit of inspiration from the Little Red Lighthouse! (:
  • I really had the mindset to see this Lighthouse and planed my trip using google maps for walking, Well the way was blocked by construction so asked local joggers a better way and the directed us a way that was almost an additional mile out of the way, the way back showed a closer one, pay attention.
  • Went to the Little Red Lighthouse Festival September 24, 2016 and had a wonderful time! I had been wanting to go there for years and after having a kidney transplant 3 years ago, and open heart surgery 1 1/2 years ago, I made it there today with a special friend to celebrate being given a second chance and to celebrate a historic NYC landmark!
