  • If you need to find unique ingredients, this is the place. The selection of salts, sugars, bitters, spice blends, tea, etc. is amazing! The focus is on middle Eastern (Turkish, Mediterranean, Armenian...  more »
  • Very good to buy spices, teas, sauces and various Oriental meals. A bit rude attention, but the place is worthwhile and especially to take lunch on the floor from above with the preparations of the day yprobar the falafel, the children involved, the cheese feta and the infinite variety of delicious olives. That's great!

  • One of the cleanest and most organized Indian grocery stores I have seen. Doesn't seem to be crazy overpriced like most Manhattan grocery stores. Come here for all your Indian spice and kitchen needs.
  • This place is fantastic. Every kind of sauce, spice, or tea you can imagine. Personally love the selection of hot sauces and bitters.
  • They have the most amazing spices here. I buy all my speciality syrian ingredients here. their allepo pepper is amazing
  • This store is huge, and has an excellent selection of everything our pantry needs. We especially love their honey aisle!
  • Love this store; it can be pricy but they have ingredients here that are often very hard to track down elsewhere, unless you buy online or know what to look for in Chinatown. One can spend hours browsing the store, so it's nice that they have the soothing backdrop of Erik Satie and other classical composers dominating the shop's stereo. I'll often go in wanting to get only one or two things and end up getting so much more. If you're interested in cooking foods from a variety of regions around the world, Kalustyan's is cheaper than a plane ticket.
