  • I had seen an online review of New York’s best sandwiches that included a Basterma and Labney sandwich from Kalustyan's so I decided to give it a try. The deli is located on the second floor, above Ka...  more »

  • Everything about going here is a delight - staff help out with recipes and cookbooks, they know where everything is (which is no small feat, there must be 200 varieties of beans in that store) - the variety of things to look at and try. I'm hard pressed to think of a spice you can't get there. Great place to dive into Indian and other types of cooking.
  • I love this place. They have every hard to find ingredient under the sun. The food in the cafe is delicious and whatever that lentil and shallot dish is get a big container of it to take home. You'll definitely want more later and make sure to use extra hot sauce. Don't forget to bring cash. They take cards but give a discount for cash purchases.
  • The BEST place for hard to find ingredients. Beautifully organized and the staff is very helpful. A playground for foodies and passionate home cooks!
  • Went upstairs and had lunch and got the best service in New York! Got to taste the food before deciding on which dish to pick and all the food was amazing! Will definitely return.
  • Spices galore. No matter what you're cooking, you'll find the herbs and spices here. Colonel Sanders would be impressed. Every ethnicity and region is covered here. Love this place!
